Platte River tech director receives recognition

FORT COLLINS, Colo., December 2, 2021 – Platte River Power Authority’s Director of Technology Rob Morse recently earned national distinction as a 2021 chief information officer (CIO) award winner.

Morse received recognition as 2021 Visionary Leader by Info-Tech Research Group, a leading IT research and advisory firm. Since 2016, Info-Tech CIO Awards have been presented to outstanding industry leaders for delivering exceptional value to their organizations and for achieving high satisfaction among business unit staff members.

“This recognition more accurately reflects the hard work and dedication of our team at Platte River,” said Morse. “It’s not about me; it’s about our team doing outstanding work.”

More than 370 information technology professionals nationwide were nominated for this year’s awards. A total of 39 winners across four categories were selected based on IT satisfaction and value scores, assessed and quantified by their direct business stakeholders.

“The Info-Tech CIO Awards spotlight the essential attribute of an IT leader’s success, which is the ability to satisfy their stakeholders,” says Geoff Nielson, senior vice president, global services and delivery for Info-Tech Research Group. “Recipients personify how IT should deliver business value, especially during unprecedented times.”
