OASIS stands for Open Access Same-Time Information System, an internet-based system for obtaining services related to electric power transmission in North America. High-voltage transmission lines are typically reserved via OASIS for moving wholesale quantities of electricity.

Platte River Power Authority subscribes to the webOASIS service provided by the Open Access Technology International, Inc. (OATI). Platte River posts available transmission capacity for reservation on the OATI webOASIS.

Approved transmission customers have "open access" to use our transmission facilities and can reserve capacity when it is available. Transmission capacity can be reserved hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or yearly, as available.
