Notice:
During the spring and early summer, Platte River temporarily suspended public input and board deliberations concerning its 2020 IRP due to issues associated with COVID-19. During the August and September board meetings, directors resumed deliberations and taking public input. The board currently plans to consider a resolution concerning the 2020 IRP during its October board meeting, which will be conducted virtually.

Platte River's
resource planning

Resource planning is a continuous and dynamic process at Platte River. As part of this ongoing effort, Platte River develops an Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) together with our owner communities. The IRP is a critical tool for establishing a near-term action plan and long-term trajectory that will ensure an adequate supply of reliable, financially sustainable and environmentally responsible electricity.
