The Transparency in Coverage rule (Rule), issued in 2020 by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, U.S. Department of Labor, and U.S. Department of the Treasury, requires health plans and health insurance issuers to publish pricing data as machine-readable files (MRF), effective July 1, 2022. Platte River Power Authority has a self-insured medical plan for its employees administered by Employee Benefit Management Services. Consistent with the requirements of the Rule, these MRF are publicly available and accessible free of charge.
