Energy Efficiency
Cooling Rebate Program at-a-glance: • Provides rebate incentives for installing high-efficiency cooling equipment.
• Must meet high-efficiency criteria on the Cooling Rebate Overview.
• An application must be submitted and received by Platte River within 60 days of installation. The application must include a copy of the purchase invoice for the installed equipment detailing equipment description and model numbers.
• Payment is made when a customer submits an application with copies of project-related invoices and when efficiency ratings are verified by Platte River.
• For rebates greater than $5,000, approval by Platte River is required prior to installation.
Platte River Power Authority wants to help make energy-efficient cooling equipment more affordable and is providing funding to do so. This program is for commercial and industrial customers served by the municipal electric utilities of Estes Park, Fort Collins, Longmont and Loveland, Colorado.
